Sara is joined by three of our amazing ambassadors from the 2020 program, Gracie, Sophiyat and Paul to chat about their experiences, takeaways and all the funny moments from the program you won't get access to otherwise! Applications for our 2022 Ambassador Program is now open - apply hereGracie is a UK based activist. Together with her family she they crated the charity challenge One Life Share It living on a total amount £10 a day (£5 for gas and £ for food) throughout an entire year whilst travelling around the UK learning from different communities. She's passionate about building community, creating opportunities for human connection and crossing divides to achieve social equality and unity. She's currently also writing a book about her experiences. Sophiyat Sadiq is a Nigirian tech enthusiast and professional volunteer. She is highly passionate about women and youth empowerment as well as using tech for good. Sophiyat has volunteered with the Women Technology Empowerment Centre for over 5 years to help train more young girls in STEM subjects and encourage them to study those courses. As an ambassador for Unite 2030, Sophiyat is the president of Unite 2030 Lagos Changemaker Chapter, where she works with a team of 10 passionate youth Changemakers to localize the SDG’s in her community. Since the program she has launched her own NGO, Auxillium, providing STEAM based education to young girls in developing communities!Paul Liwag is a Philippine young professional, leader and an advocate. His passion is all about helping the kids to fight zero hunger and give equal opportunities to everyone, whatever sector they may come from. He is a part of a organization called, Council of Young Leaders of the Philippines. A certified and accredited organization of National Youth Commission through Youth Organization Registration Program.
