With over 25 years of multi-property responsibility in both branded and independent hotels & resorts, Lang is an accomplished expert in hotel sales, marketing, and customer experiences. Her expansive and highly-honed skill-set crosses multiple disciplines including hospitality, wellness and luxury goods. Before joining VisitGreenvilleSC, Lang held numerous sales and marketing positions with prestigious brands including Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, the Camberley Hotel Collection, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Morgans Hotel Group, AHG, and Crescent Hotels and Resorts. Most recently, Lang performed in a consulting capacity for LGS Group as the Chief Strategic Officer. With an unwavering passion and commitment to excellence, Lang is a proven, energetic leader with an exceptional ability to ignite performance, drive improvement and consistently produce industry-leading results. She fundamentally believes that one’s approach to work is a reflection of who we are at our core as individuals. On a personal level, Sheryl is passionate about travel, a lover of music, an accomplished pianist, and is always packed and ready for a spontaneous trip to the beach or lake.
