Matthew 19:30 says, "But many who are first will be last and the last first."This verse is perplexing. It talks about the coming Kingdom of God, a Kingdom where it seems, at least at face value, to refer to the reversal of the order of things sought for and accepted in this world. When we get there, a lot of things are going to be turned upside down. People that we didn't esteem will find out that God did. People that we esteem will find out that God didn't. Everything will be brought into its rightful order. Every heart will be rewarded according to the diligence of its service to God. It will be an amazing day. God's way is not our way, and God's thoughts are not ours. It will all make sense on that glorious day when we meet Jesus. Until then, let's seek His guidance. Remember, it's time to pray.
