“Skies” is the debut LP from Milwaukee based producer BVSMV. After three EPs honing his sound, "Skies" is an aural journey consisting of warm 80s sounding analog synths and drum machines, processed guitars, and ambient soundscapes over the course of 11 tracks. The sound aims to be big and cinematic: large shimmering reverb and long delays that drift off into the distance. Like his name (which stands for bicycle versus motorvehicle) the goal of "Skies" is to make you FEEL. Even as things seem dark, there is always light around the corner. Whether it be a shifting cloud, or a clear star filled night, we all have been mesmerized by just looking towards the sky.
