In this message titled, 'The Art of Remembering', Paul Jukes compares two similar miracles in the Gospel of Mark in which multitudes of people are miraculously fed (Mark 6 and Mark 8). On both occasions, the disciples were in a remote, wilderness place, so we need to remember that miracles happen in the wilderness. We also need to remember what we have with us. The disciples had forgotten they had a loaf of bread with them in the boat, and they had forgotten what Jesus could do with only a little. Finally, we need to remember who is with us in the boat. Jesus is the Bread of Life and everything you will ever need, is found in Jesus, the one and only loaf!
