Senior Pastor Paul Jukes brings a message titled, 'Leaving a Legacy' as part of our 'Stand Out' series. The way we behave leaves an impression on those around us, and we can leave a good or bad mark. In John 14:13, Jesus says, "I will do whatever you ask in my name." God is above all things and if we ask in Jesus' name, He will be with us and will never abandon us. We all have access to the same advocate and comforter-the Holy Spirit as it says in verse 16 of the same chapter. If we put our faith in Jesus, we will see salvation and God will reveal himself to us. In verse 15, Jesus says, “If you love me, keep my commands." The fruit of what you demonstrate will then be magnified love, even to our enemies. Our mark is to love others and be empowered by an infused partnership with Jesus and the holy spirit. This is how others will know who we are. The final aspect that Paul talked about is peace. Jesus gives us a deep and inner peace that is only available through Him.
