In this message, Joy challenges us to be counter-cultural in a world that loves to focus on betrayal and scandal. We need to raise the standard and stand out for being steadfast and loyal. In Isaiah 54:10, God sets the example for faithfulness. Can we keep our word and be consistent? Colossians 3:22 says we need to keep our motives in check. Do we keep to a high standard even when nobody is watching? God always sees! Ruth is a great example of faithfulness: Ruth remains with her mother-in-law to help and protect her. We see in Ruth 2:10-12 that she was rewarded for her Faithfulness by Boaz. Finally, in the book of James, we find that faithfulness produces perseverance and blessings.
