Kindness is the quality of being generous, helpful, and caring about other people. We don't do it to get anything back.

The pioneer of kindness was God; he showed kindness in the Garden of Eden. In the same way, we should clothe ourselves with kindness (Col 3:12.)

Dave shared about Coco the gorilla who was known for her ability to speak sign language. When asked the meaning of life, she said it was about kindness, alongside being polite.

Kindness brings refreshing (Philemon 1:7) and revives the heart. Kindness breeds kindness: when someone blesses us with kindness, we're inspired to pass it on.

Our kindness needs to be practical: to ourselves, to those around us, and to strangers.
