During a banquet, WWX enters uninvited and demands to speak to Jin Zixun about the location of Wen Ning, and insults JGS by comparing the Jin clan to the Wen Clan. After being threatened by Chenqing, Jin Zixun reveals that Wen Ning is in a labor camp on Qiongqi path, but by the time WWX and WQ arrive, it is too late and Wen Ning is dead. WWX summons him back as a corpse and orders him to take revenge on the overseers who killed him. He also frees the other Wen cultivators and takes them to the burial mounds. The other sects immediately gather for an emergency meeting to discuss WWX’s actions. JC is forced to apologize for the overseers that were killed. JGS argues that WWX is undermining JC’s position as head of the sect and disrespecting him.
