After the battle on Mai Gu Ridge, the system offers Shang Qinghua a way to return home. But before Shang Qinghua can make a decision, Mobei Jun appears to take him to the demon realm for his succession ceremony. Shang Qinghua and Mobei Jun get into an argument, and Shang Qinghua is told to leave. But as Shang Qinghua is leaving, he sees Mobei Jun’s uncle Linguang-Jun arriving. Worried that Linguang-Jun will kill Mobei Jun, Shang Qinghua sneaks back and hides in the ceiling. When Linguang-Jun finally makes his move, Shang Qinghua interrupts and pretends to get revenge on Mobei Jun.
