Xie Lian sees the bandaged boy getting bullied by ghosts and interferes to save him. The boy runs away, and Xie Lian chases him, only to get invited by the Waning Moon officer to Hua Cheng’s paradise manor. Hua Cheng helps him find the boy and offers Xie Lian an armory of weapons. Shi Qingxuan sneaks into the manor and together with Xie Lian, they snoop around the manor for clues of the missing Heavenly Official.
