Xie Lian picks up the other heavenly officials in a giant statue, but the resentful spirits and lava are quickly catching up to him. The martial gods transform into a giant sword so Xie Lian can fight against the spirits, but he’s running out of spiritual energy. Thankfully, Jun Wu arrives to help them dissipate some of the spirits. White no face gathers the remaining spirits and sends them to all the major cities to unleash the human face disease. Xie Lian and Hua Cheng decide to go to the capital city since it will be the most populated and difficult to deal with.
