White No Face lures 100 lost travelers into stabbing Xie Lian. Hua Cheng, in the form of a ghost fire, explodes from anguish and kills everyone, turning into a savage ghost. Two months later, Xie Lian regains his body and he travels back to his family. Feng Xin finds him and they get into an argument when he realizes that Xie Lian’s personality has changed. Feng Xin leaves. Soon after, Xie Lian’s parents commit suicide, to ease his burden. Xie Lian falls into despair and turns into White No Face, planning to unleash the human face disease on the Yong'An citizens.
