Xie lian and hua cheng use guzi to trick qi rong into freeing all the prisoners. They turn qi rong into a daruma doll and hurry back to the others. Unfortunately xuan ji gets to pei ming before they can help, and she tortures him and tries to kill him. Luckily, the rain master arrives just in time to stop xuan ji and save pei ming. We also learn the rain master’s background and how she is the princess who slit her throat, of the four legendary tales.
