Pei Ming and Ling Wen are kidnapped by Jing Wen, who used to be Ling Wen’s superior. It’s revealed that Jing Wen harassed and bullied Ling Wen, and in retribution, she burned Jing Wen’s temples and harassed his followers until Jing Wen’s powers declined. Jing Wen antagonizes the brocade immortal, causing it to break free and kill him. Then the brocade immortal attacks Pei Ming and Xie Lian. Pei Ming and Xie Lian run away but get caught in nets by minor ghosts. Hua Cheng comes with blood rain to set Xie Lian free.
