So there is often an elephant in the room with women, and today we are going to talk about it.  Asking for HELP.  WHy do so many women struggle with asking for help?  This actually was a questions asked within our community... Melissa VanRoieAsking for help...business and life. I think as independent women, we struggle to ask for help when we need it.How can we be better at this? I know I struggle with this- I find it so much easier just to do myself, then I find my self in situations where I have too much on my plate.  I will become frustrated, short with people, and not as effective as I  need to be... and I realize.... I did it to myself.  Blair do you ever feel this way?The road to entrepreneurship, business can be challenge one, especially for women, because we generally carry the load at home too.  How can we take some steps to have a better balance as independent women?Often times as women we feel that in order to prove our worth, or  that "we have made it" you have to somehow to do everything yourself.  You know the "ive got this" syndrome.A few things that can help overcome this:1. Be aware of your habits- be aware if you overburden yourself- this maybe be an everyday things2. Show up for yourself- Self care, Healthy boundaries, saying no when you need to, saying YES when you need to, taking a break- whatever "showing up for yourself looks like"3 Make meaningful connections: Who do you surround yourself with?  Allow to be in your space. Are they supporting your dreams or stealing you energy?4. Define what matters to you- Vision board, goals, Then you have a clear understanding if you should DO it or NOT. What does Success look like for you??
