Ting talks about her fortuitous path with helpful mentors and collaborators to pursue her research interests, the challenges of setting up a new lab during the height of the pandemic, and of course, her research of the roles of bile acids and its nuclear receptor, FXR, in gastrointestinal homeostasis.
