Castlist 15 is a trio of episodes that all revolve around one afternoon of music at our house in March. Our friends Tom and Tony were over as they often are. Tom is a music junkie in a different way than me, and all four of us, my husband John included, connect to music deeply in various ways. I had a playlist on, which is typical, but the way the afternoon unfolded, that was put by the wayside, and an interesting path of music emerged. Part 1 begins with a song not part of that day, but one that needed to be brought to the table because of an Uber encounter the morning of our chat. From there, penmanship became a catalyst for a fantastic connection that led us to listen to an entire album. And thus the journey began. So much of this afternoon is connected to Tom, so I asked him to join us, at first maybe hesitant, but he agreed, and it was a great decision. There is so much to unpack in these three episodes: many stories, Uber encounters, blindsides during the conversation, and much laughter. In this episode alone, there are SIX!, what I call gifts from the universe. Enjoy the ride!
