Episode Synopsis

Travis wears MANY hats. He's a proud father, loving husband, loyal friend and caring brother. Professionally he's a  Founding Partner at Townsend & Lockett, LLC law firm and Managing Consultant at Torinity Consulting Company. In his community, he founded MAFDET, a nonprofit focused on eliminating the disparity in education, employment, and overall opportunity experienced by lower income individuals and minority youth in America. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Serenbe Institute for Art, Culture, & the Environment Executive Committee and is the President Emeritus of the Urban League of Greater Atlanta Young Professionals. Travis is also an Adjunct Professor on Faculty at the Emory School of Law where he teaches Deal Skills transactional law practicum.
In this episode, Travis shares his perspective on being a Black man in America, the joys of fatherhood, how he navigates a full plate and the importance of prioritizing the actions that are vital to a happy marriage.
