There’s something about baseball that makes you feel like a little kid again. A sense of bliss, joy and being-carefree washes over you when being near a baseball diamond.
This week Jenna adventures to Dyersville, Iowa where she had the opportunity to witness the first City Kid Classic presented by Grit Clothing where inner city kids had the chance to play at the Field of Dreams.
This event not only gave Jenna that child-like sense of wonder, but you could feel it from the kids, the parents, and everyone in attendance.
You’ll hear from some of the kids who had the opportunity to play in the game, the owners of Grit Clothing Co., and how rewatching The Field Of Dreams before the game made the event that much better.
