On Friday, September 29th, 2-year Colorado Av Steve Konowalchuk (#22)
announced that he will retire. This comes after an abnormal
pre-training camp EKG showed abnormalities. This was later confirmed
to be Long QT Syndrome, a genetic disease. There is also a player on
the Detroit Red Wings that had this same disease. If your think back
to last year a player had a heart attack while on the bench at a game,
