Today we took on the Division leading Edmonton Oilers. The Oilers came into this game leading the Avs, who, coming into this game were tied with the Flames for last place with 24 points, by 4 points, with 2. In this game alone Svatos got two points, Sakic got 2, Liles got 3, Klee got 3, and Arnason, with perhaps the most important few points got 3 of them. The last time we played Edmonton was at home when we lost to them 2-1. Today we beat them 7-3. He Avs only gave the the Oilers one power play, I guess Coach Quinevilles speech after the last game, in which they left up 3 well, basically four penalty kill goals, got to them. The Avs were going at about ¼ goals/shots ratio, getting 8 goals on their 27 shots. This was the first time we beat the Oilers this season, and it was also the most high scoring game for the Avs, with 7 goals.
