This episode summarizes some of the takeaways from my experience as the moderator for the first ever Intercollegiate Rowing Coaches Association (IRCA) Recruiting Panel.
This was an incredible opportunity to learn from 5 college coaches who represented all divisions within men's rowing. Over 150 high school coaches registered for the live event to learn how they can better support their athletes in the pursuit of college rowing.

There are levels to this. Different levels within men's rowing and how athletes need to understand what they are getting themselves into if they are pursuing certain schools.
The ERG MATTERS. Why is the erg so heavily weighted in the recruiting process and some options athletes can consider other than just the 2k score.
Finding the right fit for you. Do your research and understand all the options within college rowing so you can be a four year team contributor and have an awesome experience.
