Judy is known for her work fighting the New York Board of Education and organizing sit-ins in 1977 fighting for legislation that ultimately led to the Americans with Disabilities Act. Judy’s activism was highlighted in Netflix’s, Crip Camp, which was just nominated for an Oscar.
