Pamela Grealey and Leo Magri)Meet Mark MilmineMark is the owner/director of the Coromandel Life:Style Centre (appliances stores 100% Whitianga, 100% Thames, BedsRus, Joie de Vivre, and Armoire). He was born in Fiji, has two children and is passionate about music and musical theatre.In the past, Mark worked in the mergers and acquisitions area of investment banking - first with Bankers Trust and then with Deutsche Bank when it acquired BT.In 2006, he was diagnosed with non-curable blood cancer Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma two months before the birth of his first child.He left banking later in 2006 and moved to the Coromandel – He also acquired his first small business - a small import company based in East Tamaki.Having been in remission, cancer returned aggressively, culminating in a full bone marrow transplant / ‘stem cell rescue’ in 2011.Mark is also the principal of Milmine & Associates, utilising experience gained during his twelve-year career in investment banking to provide individuals and corporates with: mergers & acquisitions advice; divestment process management, and professional director service.ALTBAYS Show invites awesome people to have an honest, laid-back conversation.
