Join us for grand rounds this week where Dr. Lilian Thorpe, a geriatric psychiatrist with the University of Saskatchewan, presents on post-operative delirium.
Dr. Thorpe is a geriatric psychiatrist with dual academic appointments as Professor of psychiatry and Community Health and Epidemiology at the University of Saskatchewan. She obtained her M.D. at the University of Toronto, completed her residency in psychiatry at the University of Saskatchewan, and obtained her Ph.D. in Community Health and Epidemiology at the University of Saskatchewan. Dr. Thorpe provides clinical services and education in inpatient settings, the Geriatric Assessment Program, nursing homes, and in the MAID program. Special interests are cognitive impairment, capacity and end of life issues.
