Listen "Working through the new normal"
Episode Synopsis
Much has changed during the last week or so as the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak has expanded across the U.S.We talk about Kentucky's move to shut down restaurants, bars, movie theaters and other places in order to slow it down. This is obviously taking a huge toll on business with many restaurants having to layoff their entire staff so they could collect unemployment benefits. Restaurant Reporter Haley Cawthon tells us what she's been hearing from restaurateurs and we also talk about a few local relief efforts. After that we talk about the government's response, including national praise for Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear. These are difficult times in Louisville and around the country. Our hope is that the show can help provide a little levity.Access Louisville is a weekly podcast from Louisville Business First. In addition to Cawthon, this week's show is hosted by Digital Editor David A. Mann, Design/Multimedia Editor Brooke Timmons and Reporter Marty Finley.
