The WIP Morning Team is joined by Zach Berman from The Athletic to discuss if Howie Roseman made the right decision giving up a third round pick for Jaelan Phillips. Will the trade pay off or did they just give up their future. The team says they think that Howie is done making moves before the 4 PM NFL trade deadline tonight. Joe DeCamara said he wants to see them trade for an offensive lineman, however he doesn’t think Howie will make that move. They talk about Nakobe Dean returning and what they will do with him next season. Jihaad Campbell has been playing well while Dean was out with an injury. ‘He’s not going anywhere, he’s the core of the defense’ said Jon Ritchie in regards to Dean. The team also gives credit to Schwarber, Sanchez and Thomson for their post season nominations. Rhea mentions the Flyers and what the team needs to do to turn around their season.
