Episode Synopsis
Low back discomfort is common. This Yin Yoga practice supports low back health with a wall sequence designed to release tension in various areas of the body that interlock with the lower back. This class can help you prevent low back injuries and may soothe mild discomfort. If you have pain or an injury, consult a physical therapist or doctor before practicing yoga.
This practice is accessible and truly all levels. All you need is an open wall space. If you have yoga blocks or a couple of throw blankets, I will make a few optional prop suggestions throughout the practice.
Moves & poses to know: Legs up the wall, Dragonfly at the wall, Figure 4 at the Wall, Figure 4 Twist, Sphinx with knees up the wall and Child's Pose.
