Come and join the conversation with the gorgeous Olga AKA Big Fat Greek Mother!
Her highly acclaimed comedy show El Greco of Hornsey, (which has been at the Edinburgh Fringe!!!) based on her childhood growing up in her Mum's hair salon, we chat about the incredible characters that she encountered and have based her show on! (some loosely, some fairly accurately!) With huge characters like Androulla (a fave of mine!) with her fake tan and being an "Influenzar" she has you in stitches! Her comedy is on point, coming from a place of love and adoration for the find memories she cherishes from her childhood.
Olga is a lady who is honest and upfront, telling it exactly as it is, no sugar coating and speaks from her heart. She opens up about the difficult times she has faced, and the strength she summoned at her darkest times.
We chat about the negativities surrounding social media, the real need for a balance, the importance of stepping back and having balance, in order to protect your own mental health.
Olga tells me about being an advocate for Kidscape, and Social Media Kindness Day, having experienced online trolling herself and understanding the impact that this has on us as people but also the negativities for the next generation 💕
Olga describes herself as the "most unconfident, confident person" and is raw and inspiring when talking honestly about her dreams for the future, and I for one 100% will be her first viewer when her sketch show is commissioned for TV!!
