The federal government may be shut down, but that isn't stopping a handful of county leaders from advocating for passage of the FEMA Act via a Fly-in event in Washington, D.C. Several North Carolina county leaders are attending including Brunswick County Commissioner Frank Williams. They are members of the National Association of Counties Intergovernmental Disaster Reform Task Force. Williams joined Jeff Hamlin to discuss the event.
