In today’s study we’re going to talk more about Peter’s denials as well as a pivotal conversation between Jesus and Pontius Pilate where Jesus confirmed His kingship but clarified that His kingdom was “not of this world.” Jesus will also explain He was born to “bear witness to the truth,” and everyone who is of the truth hears His voice. This passage sets up the irony of Pilate declaring Jesus as the “King of the Jews” on the cross, fulfilling the title despite his own cynicism about truth. Thanks for listening. God bless you!
