Listen "It’s Not Self-Doubt, It’s Data "
Episode Synopsis
If you’ve ever sat in a meeting and thought, “Is it me? Am I overreacting?” This episode is for you.I share a story from my own corporate career, when a coach helped me realise the questions I was asking myself weren’t self-doubt. They were data. Data that the environment was toxic. Data that I was being undermined. Data that I didn’t belong there. From that moment, I built a test I still use today:1. When I start questioning myself in a space that should be professional and respectful — that’s the signal.2. Then I ask: is this an environment for me? And if the answer is no (and it usually is), the next step is clear: I leave.Because upholding your standards and integrity might cost you in the short-term. But in the long-term? It compounds. This is for every woman who’s been gaslit in corporate and told she’s “too much.” You’re not. It’s not self-doubt. It’s data.
