Listen "Author Spotlight: Richard Alexander"
Episode Synopsis
Join me as I chat with Richard Alexander, author of Ashes to Ashes, a dark modern fantasy!
Ashes to Ashes blurb:
Detective Dameon Hayes is a failed police officer turned private eye. His life took a drastic turn when a tragedy in his youth changed his life forever. By turning his trauma into power, he has taken up the mantle as protector of his community.
In a small town on the Eastern side of the Appalachian Range, lays the small town of Greenvale, all but lost and forgotten by time. But like everywhere, it’s home to people, and creatures, and mysteries all their own. From the Catholic church speaking to the heart of the people, to the greed of capitalism running the local tobacco fields, Detective Hayes spends most of his days chasing missing people and providing security services to anyone who needs it.
It has been twenty years since his father was taken from him. It was always difficult to this time of year, especially going into Lent at the same time. This year, however, it seems like the nightmares are worse than ever. When something, or someone, from Dameon’s past comes haunting this quaint village, he finds himself lost in the details of the case oldest and closest to his heart, the murder of his father. Now it’s up to him to find what’s terrorizing Greenvale.
Can Dameon finally answer the question that has terrorized him for the last twenty years? Or will his father’s killer disappear back into the woods once again, for another twenty years?
