Listen "789. Ephesians - Chapter 4 (#12) It is More Blessed to Give than to Receive - April 10, 2025"
Episode Synopsis
Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 10. I will then key in on verse 4 - He who has a slack hand becomes poor, But the hand of the diligent makes rich. Friends, a number of verses in the Book of Proverbs differentiates those who are lazy with those who are not. This verse reminds us that we are to be diligent and work hard in our lives. I will begin today's podcast by reviewing the three points which I introduced to you on yesterday's podcast (Episode #788 - If you did not get a chance to check it out, I invite you to do so). I will then continue our study of the Book of Ephesians. Today we will be completing Chapter 4. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:1. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil be put away from you.2. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.3. It is more bless to give than to receive.Scriptures referenced on today's podcast:Proverb 10:4; Ephesians 4:31-32; Romans 12:5; Psalm 4:4; Psalm 37:8; Acts 20:35; Titus 3:3-4Call to Action - Are you like a lamb (Jesus - the lamb of God)? We are to be like Jesus here on earth. I think there may be some of you who may need to change the way you look at yourself.
