Listen "761. Ephesians - Chapter 3 - March 3, 2025"
Episode Synopsis
Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 3. I will then key in on verse 7 - Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil. Friends, we are to put our trust in God, and in Him alone. We are to have a reverent fear of Him & to depart from evil. Before beginning today's lesson I will review the three points that I had brought up on Thursday's podcast (Episode #759 - I invite you to check it out, if you haven't heard this lesson). I will then continue our study of Paul's letter to the church in Ephesus - we know it as the Book of Ephesians, beginning in Chapter 3. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:1. Paul reminds the Ephesians of his past and of his special ministry to them.2. Jews and Gentiles were to have an equal status in the church, the body of Christ.3. Equality with the Jews in one body was a secret never before revealed.Scriptures referenced on today's lesson:Proverb 3:7-8; Ephesians 3:1-6; Acts 9:15; Acts 22:12-21; Acts 26:16-18; Romans 11:25; Galatians 3:28-29Call to Action - Have you put your trust in God (and in His son Jesus)? If you answered no to that question, I invite you to receive Him today as your Lord and Savior and begin doing so.
