Elwood Dalton should know; underground conflicts can be quite profitable. But by competing against amateurs and keeping his MMA professional status a secret, he's not exactly playing the game. Following an event, he is contacted by a young woman who says she might be able to help him with some employment in the Florida Keys. She gives him her number just in case, but he thanks her and tells her he's not interested. Soon later, somewhat against his will, he does have a change of heart and chooses to apply for this job. It involves working as the bar's primary security guard at the Road House, which is owned by the woman he met, Frankie. Things have been hard between them.
