Episode Synopsis

Are you worried that you will never sleep well again once you have a baby?
Do you struggle to get to sleep or find yourself waking in the middle of the night and unable to get back to sleep?
Sleep can seem evasive once we become mothers. But it doesn’t have to be that way. It is possible to get great sleep even with little kids or a baby. This doesn’t always happen automatically. Yet, with a few shifts in your mindset, environment and daily habits, it can be your normal.
In this episode of the Wild & Well podcast, I talk with sleep expert and clinical psychologist Dr Daniella Marchetti about sleep in motherhood. Even if you are already getting decent sleep,
Dr Daniella is a wealth of knowledge on all things sleep. If you take one thing away from this chat and implement it today, you will be on your way to a dreamer sleep for yourself and your family.
Dr Daniella and I chat about:

Why sleep is so important
Reasons why so many of us are tired
Momsomnia
Environmental impacts on our sleep
Nutritional and lifestyle shifts for better sleep
How to get better sleep even with a newborn
Dispelling unhelpful myths about sleep postpartum
Routines to support our children’s sleep
