On the SEASON 1 FINALE of Whitecap: Olympic Medallists John Millen and Frank McLaughlin, who won bronze in the Flying Dutchman class in 1988 in Pusan South Korea.  Frank is a 3 time Olympian including racing the 470 in 1984 with Martin TenHove, and John is a two time Olympian in the FD with Frank. They were 1981 World Champions in the International 14 class, and in the FD they were Pan Am Games medalists , as well as being on the podium at both the worlds and Europeans.  John was also a member of the crew on the two Canadian challenges for the Americas Cup. Finally, they were recently inducted into the Canadian Sailing Hall of Fame.  We talked about the importance of family in sailing,  as well as many the behind the scenes tales from Canada's two America's Cup Campaigns, and heard the incredible story of their final race in Korea 88 which they had to win in order to get a medal!
