Since year one of the podcast I've been presenting the Whitecap Cup as an award to sailing programs that serve the outsiders of our sailing communities, those without access to the sport we love, or simply a program that doesn't fit nicely into our regular yacht club structure. Previous winners were the broader reach program in Armdale NS, SaskSailing, and the broad reach program in Toronto.  This year I'm pleased to present the 2024 Whitecap Cup for greatness in alternative sailing programs to the Nova Scotia Mobile Sailing school. The Nova Scotia Mobile Sailing School offers communities across Nova Scotia the opportunity to introduce sailing to places that don't have their own learn to sail programs.  To explain the program and accept the award are Executive Director of Sail Nova Scotia Frank Dennis and Sophia Josenhans, technical director of Sail Nova Scotia.
