We are going Belgian again this episode with two very different expressions of Belgian beers. First up is Swedish brewery Barlingbo Bryggeri and Solberga VIII. This is a Belgian tripel with a light 8% ABV. Light is exactly how we thought of this beer. Then we get a Belgian beer from De Ranke. Noir de Dottignies is a Belgian strong dark ale. Not a style we see very often. This comes in at 8.5% ABV. This was a real surprise for us.
