Listen "Kicking Our Community Into Action with Sayce Holmes-Lewis"
Episode Synopsis
It’s time that we support our community. Sayce Holmes-Lewis of Mentivity is doing his part by helping kids in his community find their way in the world through sport. Listen as we chat about kicking our community into action and why it’s so important. Sayce only ever saw himself in sport. He wanted to make a career in football (soccer) and managed for many years to do just that. He began coaching kids and it was then that he realized he was put on this Earth to help kids find themselves. We found him through a Tik Tok video where he was being harassed by the police but instead of becoming defensive, he used the moment to teach. The time that he took to create a teaching moment rather than leaning into hate is what we need in this world. We are in a time where more eyes than ever are focused on creating a world of change. Now is the time to change the viewpoint and Sayce is doing an amazing job. His story is fantastic. Listen in as he shares his full background and why he’s passionate about changing the trajectory of the kids in his community.
