Listen "EP 04 | Holding on to The Past. Losing generational stories"
Episode Synopsis
In this episode, I am reading a post I am shared on Substack on the 24th February 2025. I have made the decision to create audio versions of my written content to ensure the blindness and low vision community, or people who just prefer to listen, can access and enjoy my muse. It’s titled Holding on to the past: Losing generational stories and my responsibility to remember them.I talk about being the daughter of a Greek immigrant, and the lost stories of my father's parents who left their world for a promise of something more in Australia in the 50s. I share how I feel a strong pull towards documenting my only surviving grandmother's story, before it's lost forever. You can read it on substack here.Support the showConnect with Tanya: Website Substack Instagram This episode was recorded on Dharug Country and I acknowledge and pay my respects to the traditional custodians of this land.
