We talk about Jesus and the physical life that He lived as an average man. We look at a passage that discusses the compassion Jesus has for men since He went through similar experiences. We note what is said about the death of His friend Lazarus and Jesus' reaction to it. Jesus had something to say about the coming destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70 and we talk about that passage. We note a passage that teaches that God is both approachable and welcomes us to seek mercy and grace from Him. We include in our discussion a number of passages that show us that God will see us through our sufferings. We complete this episode by discussing the future glory we will experience which cannot be compared to the present afflictions we go through. Take about 30 minutes to listen in on our discussion.
