Part of this discussion includes the modern feminist demand that wives be equally in charge in the family. We note that when God's way is not followed, things tend not to work out well for the family. We look at God's law of headship and note that it is patterned like Christ's over His church. Since God placed husbands in this position of head over the wife, we talk about the husband's accountability to God for how he exercises his authority in the family. We close out this episode by noting the spiritual aspects of his role as head of the family. As Christ loved the church as His bride even so ought husbands to love their wives.
