Episode Synopsis
This week on the podcast, we talk about how to give what I call "Equal Air Time" to your positive and negative (or anxious and depressive) thoughts. Utilizing this technique will challenge you to override your usual thought patterns and look for alternatives to the knee-jerk reaction your brain has to offer. If there is a possible negative in a situation, then there is also a possible positive... no matter what. And until that outcome occurs, both potentials are 100% possible (although your brain will very likely offer that one is more probable than the other, based on past experiences). Understanding and breaking this habit will allow you to release your sense of dread and anxiety while allowing you to open up to possibilities you (quite literally) have never even dreamt of.
