Heritage NZ has come under criticism for taking issue with a wheelchair ramp at the front of the Wellington railway station and the colour and position of new ticket validation machines. The wheelchair ramp was proposed in 2019, and after years of disputing it Heritage NZ has recently given the ramp its support. Wellington Mornings Host Nick Mills asked Heritage NZ CEO Andrew Coleman if our heritage obsession had gone too far. Coleman says Heritage NZ is making a positive contribution to the Capital. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
