If you notice a hazy sky on Friday there will be patches of the Jasper wildfire smoke from Canada passing through. The near surface smoke should not affect the air quality in New York.
Overall the forecast is turning drier with low humidity and a lot of sunshine.
The weekend will be warm in the upper 80s but the humidity stays at low levels.
Sunday will be cloudier at times.
The trend next week is humidity starting to build and thunderstorm threats return on Tuesday.
