Counting persons in video surveillance is becoming more and more popular for a variety of business intelligence and safety applications. But up until now, it was only possible to count up to 30 or 40 people at once in an image. A new type of people counting applications promises to change that and to count hundreds and even thousands of people at once. In this video, we explain how crowd estimation work technically.
