We are now in early summer, one of my favourite seasons in Japan. It is not too hot yet, and I can feel the gentle breeze through the buildings of Tokyo. The breeze in Tokyo is different from the breeze I felt in the pastures outside Amsterdam where I grew up, but only at this time of year I can recall it even though I'm in the far east. Usually, the DJ mixes I release are designed to promote my own label, so they are more conscious of the sounds of Tokyo. In this mix, however, I play a lot of Detroit and dub-like techno, which are my roots of music as a DJ. I would like to thank Upperberry for this opportunity. It was a great opportunity to remember why I fell in love with electronic music like I remember where I'm actually from through the Tokyo's wind in early summer.
